It goes without saying that church leaders have a very demanding job with difficult responsibilities. But can the church speak about sexuality at least as frankly on Sunday morning as popular culture speaks about sexuality everyday? Can church members be given the grace to bring their brokenness out into the light without condemnation?

What are ministry leaders doing and saying that they should not do or say? Conversely, what are they not doing or saying that they should do or say? Witnessing to individuals who are gay or same-sex attracted should not be any different than witnessing to anyone else. Our approach should demand Biblical truth, love, respect, care, empathy, humility and kindness.
